Intelligent Social Media™

Secure Collaboration. Reintroduced.

Some technologies solve a temporary problem. Others reveal an enduring one.

Intelligent Social Media™ was developed around a persistent operational challenge: how do organizations allow people to communicate, collaborate, share information, and build situational awareness at the speed their mission requires without losing control of the environment in which that information moves?

The result was ISM: a networked collaboration platform designed around real-time communication, groups and communities, rich media, live video, mobile and web access, and the ability to connect people working across locations, disciplines, and organizational boundaries.

Following a successful M&A transaction in 2026, OSI acquired Intelligent Social Media™ and brought its technology, experience, and intellectual foundation into the broader OSI innovation portfolio.

Today, we are preparing ISM for its next generation.

New ISM networks are being developed for renewed availability to selected business and government clients.

The next-generation platform will build upon ISM’s established collaboration concepts while its architecture, infrastructure, security, deployment model, user experience, and support environment are evaluated and modernized for contemporary requirements.

An Established Technology With a New Future

ISM did not begin as a concept on a whiteboard.

Earlier generations of the platform supported web and mobile collaboration, real-time activity feeds, groups and communities, multimedia communications, video, audio, broadcast capabilities, and distributed users operating across organizational and geographic boundaries.

The legacy ISM website remains available as part of that history.

Visitors should understand that the legacy site documents an earlier generation of the platform. Product configurations, technical architecture, infrastructure, security representations, compliance information, availability statements, and other specifications shown there may reflect the platform and operating environment of that period rather than the version now being developed under OSI.

ISM Is Returning

The next chapter of Intelligent Social Media™ will not simply reproduce the previous platform.

OSI is examining what should be preserved, what should be modernized, and what new technologies can responsibly extend the original vision.

That includes the possibilities created by artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, geospatial information, richer video collaboration, mobile computing, secure cloud environments, automation, and increasingly distributed organizations.

But the governing principle remains unchanged:

Technology should serve the mission and the people responsible for carrying it out.

New ISM networks are expected to support business and government organizations that need trusted digital environments for collaboration, leadership, distributed teams, communities of practice, training, situational awareness, project coordination, and mission-focused communication.

Availability, configuration, technical specifications, and implementation options will be announced as the next-generation platform completes its development and validation process.

Trusted connection for critical missions.
