Created as a platform for books, analysis, research, commentary, media, and ideas worth examining, Dark Horse provides a place where complex subjects can be explored beyond the limitations of a consulting engagement or organizational briefing. Its work spans leadership, national security, history, faith, culture, technology, artificial intelligence, organizational life, and the changing relationship between power, institutions, and the people they are meant to serve.
The connection between Dark Horse and OSI is intentional, but the two serve different purposes. Dark Horse creates space to investigate, question, publish, and teach. OSI takes many of those lessons and considers how they may be applied within organizations, leadership teams, operational environments, and communities.
This relationship is especially visible through Foresight Watch. You’ll find a Leadership version of the Foresight Watch Reports on this site as well. They are complimentary, but not the same. Dark Horse publishes Intelligence Foresight reports that examine geopolitical, economic, institutional, technological, and national-security developments through disciplined open-source research. OSI then draws from selected findings to develop Leadership Foresight, Supply Chain Foresight, resilience guidance, and other applied tools for leaders.
Yet Dark Horse is much more than Foresight Watch. It is also the publishing home for books, essays, research, media, and continuing conversations designed to challenge assumptions and encourage people to look beyond the obvious.
