David Henderman, CPP is a 36-plus-year veteran practitioner serving in law enforcement, private / government contract security, and protection operations. He pioneered Operations Security International, Inc. (OSI-Retired), a law enforcement and security management firm specializing in tactical intelligence and deploying technology into the tactical environment. He is currently the president and co-founder of Intelligent Social Media, LLC (ISM). ISM has developed a robust and secure Platform as a Service (PaaS) model in support of law enforcement, first responders, and defense organizations. The platform operates fully on the AWS GovCloud (NIST Certified.) Mr. Henderman has been the network /systems architect for numerous operational cyber deployments in the U.S. government and security communities.

David served for 14 years as an Adjunct Faculty & Program Developer for San Diego State University (SDSU), Graduate Homeland Security Program, and the SDSU Vis Center. Mr. Henderman has been a Sr. project/program manager and Sr. Consultant for federal, state and local projects. He has worked for agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and other federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies. He has also worked extensively with global Christian missions organizations.

Mr. Henderman has received recognition, awards, and accolades for work ranging from active law enforcement service, Congressional Recognition for service during Hurricane Katrina Response Efforts, to events such as Strong Angel III, Operation Golden Phoenix, CWID, Ardent Sentry, and others. He is a sought-after public speaker, award-winning writer, and production consultant and has received recognition from corporate organizations, state and local agencies, the US Congress, and President Jimmy Carter.
